Mobile Wood Chipper Goes Green

A compact mobile wood chipper cum plastic shredder innovation in Chennai promises a green solution for chopped wood generated through pruning and trimming of trees in public, private areas and even highways. Developed by Mr M Balachandran an auto component maker in the city, the mobile unit he says could help local administrations keep cities clean. The wood chips could be used as  mulch for pruned trees, the shredded plastic could  be used to lay roads or shipped easily for recycling.
