
When the Marina Beach Welcomed Wheelchairs

More than a thousand differently abled people, mostly wheelchair users got access to the Marina Beach in Chennai, nearly after two years amid the pandemic. The Greater Chennai Corporation had erected a temporary ramp to facilitate this. It was a dream come true for many to feel the waves. While there is a long pending demand for a permanent ramp, the Greater Chennai Corporation has assured to provide a permanent access to the beach in three months.
