IITM’s Largest Green Swanky Hostel

IIT Madras has inaugurated a state of the art Mandakini Hostel, the largest hostel on it’s campus. The swanky hostel comes with several green initiatives including solar power, recycling waste water, low energy  and recycling materials  in a bid to get a four star GRIHA rating. The entire building the institute says is also differently abled friendly.
